Today marks the launch of CHOSA’s first Online Art Raffle! In honor of Youth Day, which South Africa celebrated yesterday to recognize the sacrifice of its youngest citizens in the struggle against apartheid, we invite each of you to participate in supporting orphaned and vulnerable children by entering our raffle for a chance to win some great prizes!
-
How it works: For just $10 (or 100 Rand), you can purchase a raffle ticket at www.chosa.org/raffle, which will enter you to win a one-of-a-kind, handmade, block art fresco that will bring the spirit and strength of South Africa into your home.
- Want to see it? As raffle tickets are purchased, the art will be uncovered bit by bit on the raffle page, and once every ticket has been purchased, the winner will be announced!
- Win bonus prizes! After every 100 tickets are purchased, CHOSA will give away a beautiful craft or piece of art (including aprons, bags, notepads, and 3D paintings) handmade by the women of the Philani Employment Project in Cape Town, one of CHOSA’s partner organizations. We will also have 5 instant winners throughout the raffle!
- Best of all, every cent will go toward the important work of CHOSA – the empowerment of South African youth and communities.
With so many chances to win, and a great cause to support, there’s no better way to honor Youth Day. And if CHOSA is a cause you believe in, spread the word! Share this post with your friends and colleagues, and encourage them to enter. As you can see on the raffle page, the grand prize will only be given away when all the tickets are bought, so get yours today!
Thank you for your continued support of CHOSA, and we look forward to your participation.
Best,
Jared Sacks, Zukie Mabuya, Elena Echevarria, Solitude Dasie,
Jennifer Erem, Ellie Gunderson, Jonathan Goldin, Ann Eveleth,
Elelwani Ramugondo, Jonathan Lurie and Jennifer Goldin
