CHOSA is hosting a book launch and fundraiser on June 20th, 2011 at Tecolote Bookstore in Montecito.

The book is called “No Land! No House! No Vote! Voices from Symphony Way“.  It is written and edited by the Symphony Way Pavement Dwellers and features a forward by best-selling author and activist Raj Patel.  This unique anthology of 45 stories tells the tale of a struggle for land, housing and dignity in Cape Town, South Africa.  Royalties from the book go to the Symphony Way community.  Donations to CHOSA will go towards supporting orphaned and other vulnerable children in South Africa.
